Work starts to prepare for Galloper’s onshore substation.

Enabling works have begun at Sizewell to prepare the ground for the building of Galloper’s onshore substation.  Local civil engineering contractors, Breheny’s are carrying out the works north of Sizewell Gap Road.  These include installing a permanent access road, preparing the land for the substation and building up ground around the area in preparation for the landscape screening.  Galloper staff held a drop-in session for local people on Wednesday 18th June at Sizewell Tea to find out more about the forthcoming activities.  Thank you to everyone who attended.  If you were unable to come along but would like further information about the works please contact us on 0845 078 2941.
