Galloper Wind Farm has committed to further reducing its environmental impact and to protecting the wildlife heritage of Essex through its corporate support of Essex Wildlife Trust.

As a Platinum Member, the Galloper team will support the organisation with various initiatives including taking part in volunteer days at local nature reserves and parks, involving team members and their families with events and campaigns and profiling each other’s environmental activities.

Galloper will also be able to access the Essex Wildlife Trust’s ecological consultancy and liaise with its other corporate members, becoming part of a wider network of local companies supporting wildlife protection schemes across the region.

Essex Wildlife Trust is the county’s leading conservation charity. It has more than 37,000 members, manages and protects over 8,400 acres of land on 87 nature reserves, two nature parks and runs 11 visitor centres.

Galloper’s O&M Manager Sean Chenery said: “We are proud to further our support of local environmental initiatives by partnering with the Essex Wildlife Trust, which is known throughout the region for its work to raise awareness of wildlife and wild places and to actively protect them through a huge range of events and campaigns.”
